The Department of English Language and Literature currently offers the following MA programmes:
- MA in English Studies: Literature and Culture with three specialisations (a) The Greek Element in Anglophone Literature, (b) Nineteenth & Twentieth-Century Anglophone Literature and Culture, and (c) Anglophone Theatre from the Renaissance to the Present
- MA in ‘English language, Linguistics and Translation’, with two specializations on rotation (a) Linguistics: Theory and Applications, and (b) Translation Studies and Interpreting
- Interdepartmental MA in “Translation: Greek, English, Russian,” in collaboration with the Departments of Philology and the Department of Russian Language and Literature
Programme information
- MA programmes last three terms (Fall, Spring, Fall) and start in September; the start date for the MA specialization Linguistics:Theory and Applications and the MA in English Studies: Literature and Culture is October 2023
