The  Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Programme «Translation: Greek, English, Russian», which is anchored in our Department of English Language and Literature, was founded in 2020 with the aim of training M.A.-level students in the art of translating between the English, Greek, and Russian languages, also taking into account the particularities of these three language systems and the cultural interactions among their peoples.

This programme also expects to build upon the undergraduate skills and knowledge offered by the cooperating Departments to expand the translingual perspective of its postgraduate students towards dealing with languages and/or cultures not included in the undergraduate programmes of their Departments, thus increasing employability prospects in the field of translation while developing the intercultural perspective of the Departments involved in the field of intercultural studies.
