Academic Study Advisors

Academic Study Advisors offer consultation and practical help to students on questions that have to do with their studies and student life in general; the transition of first-year students from secondary to tertiary education; and their professional aspirations for the future. Academic Study Advisors help students determine the best way to go about selecting their courses and maximizing their chances for examination success, all according to the students’ own interests, capabilities and skills. They also support degree-pending students on matters that may delay the completion of their studies. The suggestions, ideas, information and advice offered by the ASAs is merely consultatory, without any obligation or necessity for commitment on the students’ part. The content of their discussions with students is private and the students’ sensitive personal data remains confidential.
