LINGUISTICS AND GRAMMAR TEACHING

The research programme “Linguistics and Grammar Teaching” evolved out of the collaboration of Michalis Georgiafentis and Angeliki Tsokoglou, which started in the academic year 2017-18 on the basis of their shared research interests.

The programme aims at establishing collaborations with research centres / institutes abroad which are engaged with the relation between linguistics and teaching as well as establishing a research lab / centre in Greece for research and education purposes. Furthermore, it aims at organising scientific workshops / conferences, educational seminars and meetings for primary and secondary school teachers as well as developing open access educational materials for both pupils and school teachers.

In the academic year 2019-20 the programme was funded by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens via the Special Account for Research Grants within the framework of the University research programme “Supporting research, educational and operational requirements of the University”.
