Spyros Iliopoulos earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Warwick, U.K., and then proceeded to teach for a number of years English Literature, especially 19th-20th century Poetry, in the Faculty of English at the University of Athens, from where he had received his B.A. degree. He has also taught English Literature, British Culture and Literary Translation at the Ionian University, and has collaborated with literary journals and publishing houses as editor, literary correspondent, and translator. His publications include books and articles on Blake, Kipling, Yeats, Ted Hughes, e.a., as well as book reviews and annotated bibliographies.
