DIAMANTOULA KORDA

Diamantoula Korda received her B.A. (Honours) with distinction from the English Department of the University of Athens in 1989.  She went on to study Contemporary Literary Studies for an M.A. degree (1990) at Lancaster University, U.K. where she also received her Ph.D. in 1994. She has worked in English Language teaching since 1994. Her teaching experience ranges from teaching English to young learners in State primary schools to teaching courses at the Faculty of English Studies in the University of Athens and the University of Bucharest, Romania.  Her academic and scholar interests include areas such as Translation studies, Language and Gender, teaching Greek and English as a foreign/second language.  She has published articles in these areas of interest and has participated in many international conferences around the world (Finland, Belgium, Spain, France, Czech Republic, U.K., Cyprus, Greece).
